(Washington, DC)  --  It appears military families will continue to receive death benefits.  NBC reports the Defense Department has hammered out a deal with charity group Fisher House to pick up the slack during the partial government shutdown.  The foundation had stepped in and offered to continue to fund the benefits which are currently being unpaid.  The House unanimously passed a measure today that would get the $100,000 payments flowing again.  It now goes on to the Senate.
