On one hand, I don't care. So a guy says he's gay and will probably be drafted in the NFL. And there you go: the first openly gay NFL player. Big deal. Let's move on.
On the other, look at all the media attention. The same people who tell us being gay shouldn't be a big deal or something to be ashamed of or hide are the same people who won't let this go. They won't stop making a big deal out of it. And then the cycle repeates itself. Great, let the guy come out. Ask a couple of questions and let's move on.
