Facebook Feud Led To Drive-By Shooting Death Of Toddler

A three-year-old girl was caught in the crossfire of a drive-by shooting as she stood near the front door of her home in March. Three people were charged with the capital murder of Livia De'myiah Robinson after they allegedly opened fire on the home because of dispute that started on Facebook.

Martin Evenes and Dominique Russell appeared in court for preliminary hearings on the murder charges. During the hearing, an investigator testified that the young girl was not the target of the shooting. Instead, Evenes was trying to shoot Ashley Brown, who had a child with Evenes, after an argument on Facebook between Brown and Evenes' current girlfriend Brittany Kingston. Kingston was also charged in the killing because she was allegedly sitting in the back seat during the drive-by shooting.

The argument started between Kingston and Brown but soon escalated to include Livia's mother Demetrius McComb. She told police that she was standing behind her daughter when shots rang out and that she saw Evenes point and fire the gun at the home.

Russell admitted to police that he was driving the car and said he supplied Evenes with the gun. Police said that after he learned that the young girl was killed, he cooperated with police and turned over the gun, which he had hidden under his mattress.

Russell and Evenes face the death penalty or life in prison if they are convicted.
