It’s official – everyone’s favorite witch movie, 1996’s “The Craft,” is being remade. Blumhouse and Columbia pictures have announced that “Life In Pieces” star Zoe Lister-Jones will write and direct the new version.
With the rise of #MeToo and Time’s Up, it’s the perfect time for a girl-power movie like “The Craft.” The original movie starred Robin Tunney, Fairuza Balk, Neve Campbell, Christine Taylor, Rachel True and Skeet Ulrich.
Original producer Lucy Fisher’s Red Wagon Entertainment has been tapped for the project. Red Wagon is also behind hits like “The Great Gatsby,” “Memoirs of a Geisha,” “Girl Interrupted,” and “Divergent.”
