A new law in Texas will allow people to take beer to go. Governor Greg Abbott signed the Beer-To-Go bill, making it possible for home-grown breweries to sell beer for people to walk away with, which is already allowed in every other state. Abbott made the announcement in a video posted to Twitter. He was seen sitting inside a brewery with a six-pack of beer on his lap. It also extends the operations of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission. Abbott ended his message by saying "drink responsibly." The law goes into effect September 1st.
