A new suspect is being named in an Austin mass shooting. Interim Austin Police Chief Joseph Chacon says De'ondre White is the man who started shooting into a crowd on Sixth Street earlier this month. A tourist from New York was killed and 13 others wounded. Chacon notes White is friends with Jeremiah Tabb, who had previously been identified as a suspect in the shooting. Prosecutors are planning to drop charges against Tabb, but he's still in custody due to being a suspect in a previous shooting in Killeen, about an hour north of Austin. A juvenile suspect is also having charges dropped. Investigators believe the Killeen shooting is connected with the Austin shooting. White is still on the loose.
