Newt Gingrich and Sean

78 DAYS UNTIL THE MIDTERM ELECTIONS 11/6/2018

4:05 PM ET – Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House, author of Trump’s America: The Truth about Our Nation’s Great Comeback, his latest NY Times bestseller, is here with his take on the Mueller Investigation and what he believes needs to happen next. From his op-ed today:

In an extraordinary abuse of power Mueller has been holding Manafort in solitary confinement inside the courthouse. This level of deprivation is astonishing when done to an American citizen who has committed no violent crimes and has not been convicted of anything. Again it is an effort to intimidate and coerce.

Mueller also understands that every person he goes after has to hire lawyers, spend their lifetime savings, and potentially end up deeply in debt to simply protect themselves from government lawyers who could potentially put them in jail.

Now we are at the end of the failed investigation.

With Don McGahn’s 30 hours of testimony, it is clear there is no evidence of President Trump either colluding with the Russians or engaging in illegal obstruction of justice.

Sunday’s New York Times story should be the end of the story.

Mueller should write his report to Congress and go back into retirement.

4:30 PM ET – Sean Bigley, is a partner with Bigley Ranish, LLP, specializing in Federal Security Clearance Defense, he represents Adam Lovinger, who lost his security clearance after Stefan Halper complained about him. From an op-ed that Bigley wrote about his client:

Mr. Lovinger, who I represent, was on loan to the Trump White House until his security clearance was revoked by bureaucrats in retaliation for reporting contracting cronyism and corruption at DoD.

Twenty-four hours after the Journal exposé, the Pentagon’s Assistant Deputy Chief Management Officer, David Tillotson III, cut off Mr. Lovinger’s paycheck despite an ongoing Inspector General probe of his whistle-blower disclosures that has now turned into a criminal investigation.

The outrageous reprisal demands accountability. And yet, it still pales in comparison to what we have subsequently learned.
Last Friday, the Journal’s Kimberly Strassel published a bombshell report indicating that the FBI may have had a human mole inside or close to the Trump campaign. As it turns out, Stefan Halper, the individual inferred as the likely suspect by other news outlets – but officially unconfirmed as such – was being bankrolled by the Pentagon to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars per year. Over $400,000 was awarded to him just two months before the 2016 election for broadly defined “research” activities.

5:05 PM ET – Gregg Jarrett, Fox News Legal Analyst and author of The Russian Hoax, The Illicit Scheme to Clear Hillary Clinton and Sara Carter, Fox News Contributor and Investigative Reporter, discuss the upcoming congressional hearing for Bruce Ohr, the hearing of George Toscas on Thursday, and the meeting with Don McGahn with Mueller’s counsel. Trump tweeted this about the meeting with his White House counsel:
