JUSTICE: ICE Agents Deport Former NAZI GUARD to Germany to Stand Trial
The United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency arrested a 95-year-old former Nazi guard in New York City early Tuesday morning; deporting the accused mass murderer back to Germany for a potential trial.
According to the Associated Press, the war crimes suspect was detained by ICE agents after “years of effort” to send the former guard back to Europe. Jakiw Palij is accused of taking part in Nazi atrocities that led to the death of 6,000 prisoners at a forced-labor camp in Poland.
