This summer has been the season of Keanu Reeves– he brought big buck to the box office with his roles in “John Wick 3,” “Always Be My Maybe” and “Toy Story 4,” and was even dubbed “the internet’s boyfriend”... and he’s keeping the hype train rolling.
Reeves excited fans earlier this summer by revealing that another “Bill & Ted” sequel is coming out. And now, there’s news of an even more exciting follow-up – “The Matrix 4” is officially happening. The news comes just in time for the franchise’s 20th-anniversary celebrations.
There’s no word on the plot of the new movie, but we do know a few things for sure. Reeves will reprise his role as Neo alongside original co-star Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity. And Lana Wachowski, who wrote the previous three films, will helm this one, too.
