Hydroxychloroquine Being Tested On Patients At Texas City Nursing Home

A test is being conducted at a Texas City nursing home to find out whether a malaria drug will successfully treat the coronavirus. Gov. Greg Abbott announced the test during a briefing on Monday afternoon. About 30 people at The Resort at Texas City are being tested with hydroxychloroquine. The Galveston County Health Department announced last Friday that 83 people at the same facility, including both patients and employees, had tested positive for the virus. One of the patients died the next day.
