Federal investigators are gathering evidence in a Southeast Texas plane crash. Michael Graham with the National Transportation Safety Board says an MD-87 aircraft hit a fence and several trees yesterday after taking off from Houston Executive Airport. It then burned. Investigators will be interviewing all 21 who were onboard the flight which was headed to Boston for Game Four of the ALCS between the Astros and Red Sox. The NTSB has recovered black box and flight recorders but noted both were heavily damaged by the fire. No serious injuries from the flight were reported.
