Texas is making a case before the U.S. Supreme Court that former President Trump's "remain in Mexico" policy should be upheld. Texas Solicitor General Judd Stone told the justices on Tuesday that a federal judge's order for the Biden administration to reimplement the policy was the right decision. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sued the administration last year over its scheduled termination of the policy, which required foreigners to wait south of the border while U.S. courts considered their claims of asylum.
