Title 42 will remain in place, for now. The Supreme Court is pausing the lifting of Title 42 with Chief Justice John Roberts granting a temporary stay this afternoon. The rule allows border agents to expel any immigrant over COVID concerns. The Biden administration must respond by 5 p.m. Eastern tomorrow if they want the stay lifted.
