Texans Visit Jets On Sunday

The Texans are beginning to prepare for their Week 14 opponent. Houston is heading east to face the New York Jets on Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium. The Texans come off a thrilling 22-17 home victory over the Denver Broncos in Week 13. The Texans sit third in the AFC South at 7-and-5. Yesterday, the team signed veteran safety Adrian Amos to the active roster, waived defensive end Kerry Hyder Jr. and placed wide receiver Tank Dell on injured reserve. Wide receiver Davion Davis was signed to the practice squad while fellow wideout Jared Wayne was moved to the practice squad IR. In other news, long snapper Jon Weeks has been named the team's Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee.
